Got
no picture and this ain't about food, but I can't resist. One of my
favorite nonfood bloggers, Andrew
Sullivan, posts about this
blogger's discovery of a tool
that tries to determine whether a blogger is male or female. The science
seems a little obscure to me, but the results are fun. On two tries out
of three I turned up male. Who knew?
I just tried it and it said that I am male also. Go figure. :)

Male? Moi? After reading aloud each gender list of analyzed words for my text, I am neither. I am Martian. Clearly.

I was half and half. Interestingly, the posts I felt I had written from the heart were female while the posts that were more from the head were male.

That's interesting, Lisa. I didn't look that closely at the word lists. I'm with Susan, though. I must be Martian. (Or is it men who are from Mars?) I guess Cynthia's right: Go figure.

LOL! You're too funny, Christine. Seriously, though, I think generally those who've majored in English and/or write for their professions tend to use language more stoic and laconic (isn't that just like a guy?).

This is very interesting. I come off male, but my [not]s and [with]s get me into feminine territory. It is the [the]s that bring me out male though.
